Our company is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an Oracle Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and support in IT infrastructure and Oracle Cloud Technology, particularly in Oracle Fusion. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in IT commercials and demonstrate expertise in various Oracle modules, including Discreet Manufacturing, Enterprise Asset Management, Financials, Inventory Management, Order Management, Purchasing, and Source for Purchasing.
Oracle Consultant Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clients:
- Engage with clients to understand their unique business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with clients to align Oracle Fusion implementations with their strategic goals and objectives.
- Design and Implement Oracle Fusion Modules:
- Utilize your expertise to design, configure, and implement Oracle Fusion modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Customize Oracle Fusion applications to meet clients’ specific needs, taking into account industry best practices.
- Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure smooth implementation and minimize downtime.
- Provide Technical Expertise and Guidance:
- Offer technical expertise to clients, guiding them on Oracle Fusion best practices, system optimization, and performance tuning.
- Assist clients in evaluating the impact of technology changes and provide recommendations on suitable approaches.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in Oracle technology, identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
- Conduct Analysis and Evaluation:
- Analyze clients’ existing IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network architecture, to identify areas for improvement.
- Propose innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of clients’ IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enable end-users to effectively utilize Oracle Fusion modules.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.
Oracle Consultant Requirements:
- Educational Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience working as an Oracle Consultant, with a strong focus on IT infrastructure and Oracle Cloud Technology (Oracle Fusion).
- Oracle Fusion Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion modules, including Discreet Manufacturing, Enterprise Asset Management, Financials, Inventory Management, Order Management, Purchasing, and Source for Purchasing.
- Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and integration within the Oracle Fusion framework.
- IT Commercials and Business Acumen:
- Solid understanding of IT commercials, including budgeting, cost analysis, and contract negotiations.
- Ability to assess and align technology solutions with clients’ business objectives and strategies.
- Analytical and Problem-solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Strong presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management:
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
- Oracle Certifications:
- Oracle certifications in relevant modules or technologies are highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
